A good and most decorative telescopic standard lamp, the Corinthian column has an adjustable height between 170 CM and 140 CM from the base to the socket. It stands on a stepped plinth with lions paw feet, which conceals a very heavy cast iron base. This is a very well-made lamp made from heavy gauge brass which has a beautiful mellow colour unlike the brassy reproductions of today. The lamp has been decommissioned (wiring removed) but it can be rewired should the customer require it. Ht170, Dia 40 cms. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
