One of the best examples of an Edwardian telescopic standard lamp we have had for some time, extending to 205 cm.
I have listed this as Edwardian, but there is no doubt it is actually earlier and would have previously been an oil lamp. The casting of the Corinthian capital and lions paw feet are of the best quality, as is the whole lamp, which originally would have been made for one of the finest of homes.
