A superior quality and generously proportioned Edwardian kneehole desk of kidney shape form, in beautifully figured satinwood and of particularly elegant proportions, featuring chequer banding and mahogany line inlay, an arrangement of two graduated mahogany lined drawers to either side flanking a central drawer, all with chased brass handles and having attractive quarter veneered fronts, and raised on Hepplewhite style reeded legs united by S-profile stretchers. The top has a hand-stained pale green inset leather scriber, in genuine cow hide.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been re-finished and the leather scriber replaced, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some extremely minor old marks underneath the polish in our opinion, the photographs are representative.
