A fabulous antique Edwardian mahogany dome top steamer trunk dating from circa 1910. In beautifully figured solid mahogany with beautiful patina, with brass corners and later painted panels. The trunk lid has a diamond pattern of nine holes and lifts on heavy duty brass hinges to reveal a good amount of storage to the interior. The panels have been ebonised – later painted in Annie Sloan Athenian Black chalk paint and given a wax finish. Would fit perfectly in to a modern bedroom or living room setting.

Quite a few scuffs and marks to the exterior. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age.
