Antique large Edwardian Art Nouveau inlaid and decorated mahogany (or possibly red walnut) glazed display cabinet.

Dates from around 1910.

Lovely marquetry inlays, painted decoration, shape and style.

A great Decorative Arts piece of nice quality.

This is a lovely item, with a nice look together with loads of charm and character.

Solid, with no loose joints. An original bevel edge mirror with only very light foxing. The mirrored back lifts off for transport. .

We have a key.

Overall maximum dimensions 124cmW x 42cmD x 151cmH (+33.5cmH mirrored back).
Shelves 112cmW x 26cmD. Space above bottom shelf 31cmH, first 30cmH, top 37cmH (although access is limited to 29cmH because of the door).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections and alterations as is always the way and to be expected. The lining is old, faded, worn and marked. A few historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
