A handsome antique Arts and Crafts Edwardian mahogany and walnut music chest dating from circa 1905. In beautifully figured mahogany and walnut with good colour and patina, it comprises 5 drawers which drop down when opened allowing for sheet music/papers. The drawers have their original attractive arts and crafts drop handles and it stands on tapered legs with shaped feet united by an undershelf. A really stylish and useful item that would make a great music cabinet, collectors chest, hall unit or filing cabinet. A good quality piece, the drawers are all stamped and the top drawer is signed “Gill”.
