Very handsome large 19th.c. ebonised column pedestal c.1860. Intended for the display of a large piece of sculpture or porcelain perhaps. It has a revolving top of 15” diameter. Reeded hardwood column on a square plinth with shaped corners. In good unrestored condition, with original black lacquer finish. Solid and sturdy with a few minor knocks.
