An excellent early Victorian period mahogany side table, or writing desk. Well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive flame mahogany veneers. The superstructure contains a pair of drawers and is surmounted by a three quarters surround gallery. The main table with three drawers to the freeze, all fitted with their original solid mahogany handles. All standing on trestle end supports, terminating in lobed bun feet and united by a turned under-stretcher. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops, this versatile and attractive table is now offered for sale in excellent condition. With a rich colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
