Early Georgian Mahogany Gentlemans Wardrobe
A charming early Georgian period mahogany gentlemans wardrobe, circa 1770.
A deep rich mahogany colour throughout, with removable dentil top cornice above 2 raised panel doors typical of Georgian design, with working lock and key.
The doors open to reveal a hanging rail and pegs inside, the base has dummy drawers at the top to create more hanging space and sits above a 2 long drawers of solid mahogany dovetailed construction, with cock beaded fronts and brass swan neck handles.
On bracket feet.
This wardrobe comes in 3 parts, the top cornice, main body and drawer base.
