Early French Restoration sabre in scabbard (Louis xviii). Fluted triple bar brass hilt with copper wire bound leather grip. Broad, curved, single fullered blade which is engraved in panel 'Viva Le Roi'. On reverse side three fleur de lys are engraved in a panel. Engraved with a maker mark of I.G.E in a panel. In a steel scabbard. In good sound condition for age but with some wear and light pitting to scabbard.

Approximately 105cm overall and blade 84.5cm.
