Unusual little early 20th.c. writing table c.1920. Kidney shaped top with leather writing surface within a flame mahogany border with satinwood strung edge and a raised lip to the rear. Three drawers with shaped and flame mahogany veneered drawer fronts with button knobs and oak drawer linings. Veneered sides and rear with further inlaid stringing. Raised on crossed X frame legs with no stretcher to allow leg room when sitting at the desk.
Dimensions width 37″, depth 20″, height 29″.
