A superb, generously proportioned long stool raised on carved beech cabriole legs. Dating from the early 20th Century this stool has been reupholstered in a textured woven wool check fabric in soft blue and cream. The interesting weave of the fabric contrasts well with the rich colour of the carved legs. The stool is in excellent condition, stands solidly and would be a very useful piece of antique furniture in the home, either as a coffee/magazine table or as an elegant end of bed seat.
