Dating from the early part of the 20th Century, this substantial mahogany campaign desk has one long drawer in the removable top and three drawers in each of the twin pedestals. The condition of the desk is good, there are marks to the inner sides of the pedestals, these marks probably occurred when being transported, as desks of this type were designed to be. These marks can be clearly seen in the photographs. The desk has lovely proportions and stands well on the plinth bases. The colour is lovely and rich and compliments the traditional recessed brass handles. A very attractive and useful piece of military antique furniture that would make a handsome addition to any interior.
