Early 20th Century Cut Glass & Brass Ceiling Light
Dating from the 1910s, this ceiling light features a beautifully patinated solid brass mounting plate, decorated with a running band of oval cartouches framed by fine scroll detailing. The original deeply cut crystal shade has a crisp diamond cut pattern with starburst panels that throw light beautifully. Designed for ceiling mounting, it would originally have been installed in a well appointed commercial or civic interior.
