Very handsome early 19th.c. rosewood bookcase c.1830. Rose marble top over a two door glazed bookcase fitted with two adjustable shelves plus a single drawer in the waist. Beautifully figured rosewood veneers across the front and sides. Otherwise a simple and uncluttered design free of applied ornament. With a large stamp for the London makers I&S Steer of Oxford Street below the marble. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied
