Early 19th century French ix Light Cavalry Troopers Sword in it's original steel scabbard. Has a three bar, cast brass hilt with it's original ribbed leather grip. Has various maker and issue stamps on the hilt. There is a curved, broad, single edged blade with engraved back strap with Klingenthal made and reference to Imperial. Blade is polished and has very slight rust staining. In very good, sound condition overall and with no dents to scabbard. Fits well into the scabbard which has been heavily polished in the past.

Approximately 104cm overall and blade 88cm.
