Early 19th Century flame mahogany secretaire bookcase, the top having a decorative scrolled pediment above a pair of Gothic arched astragal glazed doors opening to reveal three adjustable shelves inside, the base having a secretaire drawer which pulled out to reveal a green leather writing surface decorated with blind and gold tooling, a nice fitted interior with various drawers and compartments including a cupboard door at the centre, a two cupboard doors below opening to reveal a single shelf inside, standing on shaped squat feet. Circa 1830. Lovely rich warm mahogany colour and in excellent condition.
