Early 19th Century Antique Oak Cumbrian Dresser.
An unusual style of late Georgian antique oak dresser, this type was only kind made in the village of Bewcastle, Cumbria.
This antique oak dresser base is a useful piece of antique furniture, it could be used in a kitchen providing lots of storage but it is also impressive enough to be used as a server in a dining/reception room.
In very good condition, featuring rounded corners with decorative inset mahogany panels.
The oak doors have inlaid stringing and diamond shaped inlaid key eschuteons.
All the brassware handles are original.
A good example of a Bewcastle Cumbrian antique oak dresser, a little bit different from the rest.
