Early 18th cent. Queen Anne period close stool
An early 18th cent. Queen Anne period oak close stool modelled as a two drawer chest.
It retains all its original handles including the lifting handles.
Original butterfly hinges.
Some years ago a removeable metal liner was made for it which enables it to store 20 bottles of wine.
Circa 1710
