Circa 1920s, unusual and rare double chest of drawers in the style of Sir Robert Lorimer, and made by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh. With cross banded top in flame mahogany and carved flowers to each end. There are 2 pull out slides below with cast brass handles and a configuration of 3 pairs of drawers with matching flame mahogany veneers. Each drawer is stamped ‘Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh’ and the top 2 have dividers (adjustable). It has a shaped apron and stands on classic Whytock and Reid feet.
