Extraordinary Hollywood Regency style daybed or chaise longue c.1930. White painted wooden frame with applied moulded and gilded gesso decoration, repeated on both sides. Original Regency stripe fabric with a dark pink velvet stripe and gold pattern. With matching bolster cushion. Raised on unusually large steel castors at the foot end. Some obvious wear and distress to the gilded decoration, otherwise good usable condition with serviceable upholstery.
Dimensions: length 84″, width 29″, height 32″.
