Here we have a rare stunning George III Mahogany desk c1790. As you can see the desk has super colour and patina. The desk is solid Mahogany throughout. There is a gilded and tooled leather skiver to the top with a framed and moulded edge. Below there is a desirable configuration of 2 long and 6 short drawers. The drawers have cockbeaded edges, handcut dovetail joints and solid Mahogany linings. Remarkebly the drawers have original brass swan neck handles, locks and the original key. The rear of the desk is beautifully finished so it could stand in the middle of a room. The base is finished with a plinth and original casters. A superb rare original desk in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 49 inches wide 24.5 deep and 29.5 high.
