A French brass cased striking carriage clock. A brass case with an enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel 'moon' hands. A well detailed case with Corinthiam fluted front and side columns and fluted carrying handle. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Circa 1895.
