Here we have a wonderful traditional Elm six plank coffer c1700. As you can see the coffer has exceptional colour and patina. There is a single plank top with super figured grain and colour. The top has a rounded edge. There are single planks to the sides, front, back and base. The chest retains the original hinges and an internal candle or herb box with original escutcheon to the front. A super example of these simple chests in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 44 inches wide 15 deep and 23 high.
