An excellent late 19th-century mahogany and brass bound campaign chest The chest has a gold gilt embossed green leather top above two short and two long drawers. The chest is in fantastic condition with a wonderful lustre to the mahogany with key and all locks working. All the locks bare "J.C. & S." markings. There are some marking and light staining on the leather top but this does not detract from the chest of drawers and rather adds to the authenticity of the piece.
