Circa 1830 Briquet French Brass Hilted Sidearm. Has a solid cast brass hilt with several issues stamps and also stamped Versailles. Curved iron blade with makers inscription to back of blade and two makers stamps to blade. Has two edge nicks and rust staining to blade.

Approximately 74cm overall and blade 59.5cm.
