Chippendale Style Glazed Mahogany Bookcase Mahogany Bookcase Chippendale %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A very good mahogany bookcase from the late Victorian period. Well made in solid mahogany in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The over-sailing cornice is decorated with swags and dentil moldings. The two large glazed doors are embellished with scrolling carved astricals the open to access a shelved display space. It is of generous proportions and the shelves are all adjustable. The whole piece stands on a base with characteristic carved ball and claw feet.
We are offering this bookcase for sale in very good original condition with a good colour and patina.
