Stunning 19th century Chinese/Tibetan hardwood altar table, c1890.
Beautifully carved in hardwood it has a traditional form with lovely scrolling decoration and supports, incorporating carved fretwork panels. The wood/lacquer has taken on a lovely depth of colour/patina following years of use.
Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear/marks consistent with age and use and all very minor.
A lovely piece of furniture that would work well in any room and in a modern or traditional setting.
