For your consideration is this very smart and attractive Chestnut coloured Lizard Handbag by Widegate of London. Widegate, who are no longer in production, made handbags for Harrods and other high end department stores. The handbag, which is in a triangular shape when viewed from the end, has a metal snap closure and a round, stiff, lizard covered handle with metal embellishments and upturned metal terminals.

The interior is in pale caramel coloured suede, with a long zipped pocket on one side, with a small pocket on its exterior and a long open pocket on the opposite side.

Length: 12" - 30.5cm

Height excluding handle: 5 3/4" - 14.6cm

Depth at base: 3 1/8" - 8cm

Condition: Very good. There are no lifting scales on the lizard, nor any signs of wear. There is a slight darkening to the centre section of the handle consistent with some use, but no wear. There is a slight 'kink' in the lizzard in the left hand centre panel on one side of the bag. The suede interior is immaculate.The zip and snap closure work perfectly.
