Here we have a wonderful George III Elm mule chest c1800. As you can see the chest has super colour and patina. The top is formed from a single plank of well figured Elm with a moulded edge. There are further single plaks to the front back and sides again carefully selected for the superior grain. The chest as you would expect is constructed with dovetailed joints. There are two drawers retaining the original brass swan neck handles with faux cockbeaded edges. The chest sits on handsome original bracket feet with a moulded top edge. A super period example of its type in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 43 inches wide 22 deep and 28 high.
