Chest of Drawers with Exotic Lacquerwork
Remarkable late 19th.c. pine chest of drawers with fabulous lacquerwork decoration c.1890. Chest of four long drawers in heavy and well figured piranha pine with oak drawer sides. Decorated on the front and both sides with stunning original polychrome lacquerwork featuring beautifully observed birds, butterflies and exotic flora. Moulded drawer fronts with unusual turned knobs. Some old marks the top and very minor surface wear, generally excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
Note we also have a matching wardrobe, single bed and bedside cabinet.
