Here we have a wonderful Burr and figured Elm French chest of drawers c1830. As you can see the chest has excellent colour and patina. There is a stunning marble top with a reeded edge. Below there is an integral cushion fronted drawer with three further framed drawers. At the base there is a further integral drawer. There are keys to all drawers and working locks. The drawers have Oak sides, hand cut dovetail joints and all run smoothly. There are beautiful Burr and figured sides and the chest sits on shaped bracket feet. The rear is paneled throughout. A super period chest in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 51 inches wide 23 deep and 38 high.
