Here we have a stunning Queen Anne Oak coffer c1700. As you can see the coffer has great colour and patina. There is a three fielded panel top with lovely mouldings to the edges. Below there are wonderful reeded mouldings to the centre and flanks. There are carefully selected timbers to the front panels maximising the Medullary rays in the Oak. As you would expect the chest is of pegged mortice and tenon construction with the pegs raised from the surface, a sure sign of age. There sre strap hinges to the interior and the chest is solid throughout. A super period chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 48 inches wide 28 high and 20.5 deep.
