Here is a good quality late Victorian solid Oak box settle, in the 17th century style.
c1890.
Elaborately carved, with wonderful 17th century inspired designs.
Lovely scroll-carved arm supports.
With a lift-up lid, opening to reveal a large storage box.
A very attractive and highly decorative Victorian settle.
Lovely, rich medium/dark colour, with lots of warmth and character to the Oak.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition. With general, expected signs of age and use.
Very robust, solid, sturdy and strong.
