Mid 19th.c. chair side reading or music stand c.1870. Walnut book holder (14″ x 11″) with brass page stays, angle adjustable with a lockable ball and socket joint at the rear and height adjustable on a brass column. On a heavy cast iron base for stability with lion’s paw feet. Original label at the rear for the London makers Leveson & Sons of Knightsbridge. Very good original condition.
