A good, late Georgian / early Regency period flamed mahogany cellarette standing elegantly on its slender taper legs.
Lion mask, brass handles to the sides
The lid lifting to reveal its original liner to hold wine bottles, it of course need not be used specifically for the storage of wine. These boxes or often used for slippers, toys, books, sticks or logs etc.
