This attractive cased pair of servers have lovely art nouveau decoration - engraved to the blades and moulded to the handles. They are marked on the handles, but unfortunately the marks are too rubbed to be legible so we are not sure whether they are silver or silver-plated. The blades appear to be plated with brass. We believe that they may be of continental origin and would estimate them to date from the early twentieth century. They are retained within what we believe to be their original fitted case.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The servers have some surface wear and tarnishing. As is mentioned above the marks are rubbed. The case has some scuffing and wear, particularly around the edges. The clasps are only partially present and the box does not latch closed. The inside lining of the box is discoloured and stained and has some fraying.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Knife - 26.5cm long
