Good sized mid 19th.c. rosewood couch c.1870. Buttoned backrest and sides with shapely moulded arm fronts in solid rosewood with crisp carved floral detail. Over a sprung seat with curving front edge to the seat with a rosewood apron flowing into short carved front legs with scrolling feet. Rear legs swept backwards for stability. Tired but serviceable upholstery in an attractive woven pattern fabric. The frame is sturdy and has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 74″, depth 34″, height 33″.
