Late 19th.c. carved oak settee or hall seat c.1880. Superb frame in solid oak with an upholstered backrest supported on a row of turned and carved spindles. Matching turnings to the arms with large cup and cover terminals with dimple detail. Over a sprung seat raised on eight legs each with the same carved and turned detail. Front legs raised on the original brass and wooden castors. Recently upholstered in a well chosen woven pattern fabric. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Very clean covers.
Dimensions: width 60″, depth 24″, height 42″.
