Carriage Gilt Bronze Miniature Clock By JW BENSON Swiss 1920 - Worldwide Shipping!!
An early 20th Century gilt bronze miniature carriage/travelling antique clock, retailed by JW Benson.
DIAL: The mother of pearl dial has blue Arabic numerals in golden circles and outer minute divisions. The dial has golden antique style hands. The dial has a crack from the four till the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: JW Benson, London.
MOVEMENT: Anchor lever 8 days movement is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The watch lies in a gilt metal carriage antique clock case of rectangular form with dentil cornice and plinth. The sides have guilloche decoration. The hinged back door opens to reveal the vertically mounted lever platform escapement and single winding arbor. The underside is inscribed: Depose Bronze Dore Geneve” and stamped with a clock motif. Please see pictures!!
