A superb inverted break-front English library desk in burr walnut. In the early Georgian style and constructed in solid walnut and fabulous burr walnut veneers. The top with a 3 part tan hide of the best quality complete with hand tooling to the edges. Slight shading to to the centre leather. A series of 5 drawers which are all lockable with the original key. Carved gadrooned mouldings to the top with shell carving to the legs and standing on ball and claw feet. Finished all the way round with burr walnut so can be free standing. Beautiful colour and condition. 48" wide x 24" deep x 30 1/2" high. Knee Height 23 3/4".
