A wonderful burr walnut commode in the Queen Anne style. Of good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. It is of bow fronted form with a single central opening door (lockable, key supplied). The door opens to reveal a shelved interior. The top is decorated with carved gadrooning to the edge. Further carved decorations can be found to the short cabriole legs. This item of antique furniture is extremely versatile and could be used in a number of different room settings within the modern home. We have had it sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
