An excellent quality queen Anne style burr walnut chest on stand, or tallboy. Very well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers onto a solid oak carcas. Good storage capacity is afforded by an arrangement of 2 short over 3 long graduated drawers to the top section followed by a further 3 drawers to the base. All drawers are fitted with their original solid brass handles, the 3 long drawers are lockable (key supplied). The drawer fronts are all cross banded with herring bone inlay. Standing on elegant solid walnut cabriole legs. We have had this piece sympathetically refinished in our workshops, it has a wonderful colour and patina. Ready to go straight into the home and splits into 2 sections for ease of installation.
