Brushed Brass Column Table Lamp & Wm. Morris Shade
We are offering for sale this Brushed Brass Column Table Lamp with a new William Morris fabric & silk shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Mr. Selfridge etc. lampshades.
The lamp features a brass triform base in polished brass, weighted with lead, with the brushed brass column and surmount mounted on three paw feet, interspersed with palmettos. The base is covered with baize to protect antique furniture.
The shade is in William Morris Willow Bough, with a bamboo silk crown, cream and taupe two tone braid, vanilla fringe and vanilla and cream beaded tassels.
The lamp has been rewired in pale gold coloured fabric covered braided flex, has an inline switch and a new plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade: 22" - 55.85cm
Diameter of shade: 11" - 28cm
Max. diameter of base: 5 1/2" - 14cm
Condition: Very good. The base has no obvious damage and the shade is new.
