Broad Burnham on Sea Fusee Dial Wall Clock
An English fusee dial wall antique clock. A walnut case with a brass bezel surround. A 12" painted dial with blued steel hands signed ' R C BROAD, BURNHAM (on-Sea)'. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1890.
Richard Broad is recorded in A J Moores 'The Clockmakers of Somerset' book as working from 1883 - 1897 at 9, College Street. This antique clock comes with a repairers log from 1956 showing it was in the Methodist Church.
Width 15" / 36 cms Depth 6 " / 15 cms.
