Superb late 19th.c. brass standard lamp and wine table c.1890. Adapted from an oil lamp and retaining the original urn-shaped brass reservoir. On a reeded column and very elaborately cast tripod base with claw feet, weighted for stability. Unusually, the column also supports a useful 14″ wine table in pink marble with a pierced brass gallery. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished, rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.
