Brass Cluster Corinthian Column Table Lamp & Shade
We are pleased to offer for sale this very attractive and unusual brass Oil Lamp Converted to Electricity with a new shade made by the makers of the Downton Abbey TV series lampshades.
The lamp has a stepped square base in brass, the reeded top step having four individual corinthian columns, topped by another square reeded section. These comes the glass reservoir, topped by the remains of the brass Duplex burner, with its two winding knobs that state English Duplex Make.
The shade is in the Dorchester style, in gold sateen, with navy moire crown, soft gold fringe, navy long tassels, the whole trimmed with navy, blue and gold gimp.
The lamp has been completely rewired with antique gold coloured braided flex and has all new fittings. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade: 31" - 79cm
Base: 5 7/8" square - 15cm square
Diameter of shade: 13" - 33cm
Condition: Very good. The shade is new.
