A wonderful late Victorian cast brass lectern highly sought-after both swivelling and adjustable up and down using the key.

Underneath the book rest is where the signature can be found for the well renowned maker, Jones and Willis of Birmingham.

Dating to around 1880, it remains in superb condition. The base measures 7" in diameter the front panel measures 11" x 9" and it stands 13" adjustable to 16". The book used for photography measures 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" to give an idea of scale.
