Boarding Pike
Royal Navy boarding pike model 1800 . This earlier pike is distinguished from the later model 1888 by the much longer langets and the four sided spike . The shaft is much thicker “ ash “ than the 1888 it’s been cut down the a more manageable weapon I would think looking at the end of the shaft it was done back in the day. These are rare to find in any condition this one is very good no splits to the shaft no pitting to the metal solid and substantial. Shaft 14 cm round
