Bluey Purple Stratton Vanity Set 1970s
A 1970s Stratton vanity set which is embellished with lustrous deep blue/purple enamel and floral motifs. The set comprises an unused compact mirror and lipstick holder / mirror. The enamel has a lustrous sheen. Image one gives a hint of this beautiful finish. Other images have the light blocked out to prevent reflections and so the sheen is not apparent on the dull over head photographs.
Both mirrors give good clear reflections. The original accessories are present, as seen in the images. The catches and hinges work exactly as they should.
The case is lined with lovely golden material. The interior case lid is emblazoned with the Stratton signature in gilt lettering. The original case is decorated with a golden and cream patterned design. Both items are signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.
The compact measures 3 1/4 inches diameter and weighs 102.3 grams. The Lipview measures 2 1/2 inches and weighs 19.6 grams. Fits all lipsticks.
Excellent condition! No enamel loss or fading.
This Stratton Queen Convertible compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter.
